STYLE FIRST: a hand-drawn 2D Japanese anime action film in a bold graphic poster style. Very thick confident black ink outlines that change weight, flat cel color with one hard-edged shadow tone, large solid near-black shadow shapes, a slight red and cyan chromatic-aberration fringe on the outlines. Animated on twos and threes, smear frames, speed lines, impact frames. Rain is thin straight white lines. Smog and sparks are flat drawn shapes with ink edges, never 3D smoke or realistic fire. No 3D, no CG, no photographic textures, no painterly blur, no soft glossy AI polish, no slow motion. This applies to every shot.

PLACE AND LIGHT, only from @[image2] (never its camera angle, and never shown as a shot of its own without her): a narrow wet street at night in a futuristic Japanese megacity, magenta-pink neon sign shapes on the left, cyan and blue on the right, bold black power cables overhead, a red torii gate glowing at the far end, flat shapes of smog low on the ground, long flat streaks of pink, cyan and red reflection on the wet asphalt. Low-key lighting: at least two thirds of every frame is deep shadow. She is lit only by a hard rim of neon along one edge of her mask, one shoulder and the blade; her front stays in dark shadow, her white pants read as dark blue-grey shadow tone. The neon signs are abstract shapes, never readable letters.

ENEMIES: street thugs in long black raincoats and hoods with a single red glowing visor slit, drawn in the same flat 2D ink style.

RED OUT is the finisher of this film. It happens exactly 3 times, and it is the same every time. HOLD: she freezes for one beat, nothing moves. RED OUT: on the exact frame the blade touches the enemy, and never before contact, the whole background snaps to flat solid red with no scene behind it. She and the enemy are both pure black ink silhouettes with a thin white outline, no color on them at all, not her coat, not her mask, not her skin. The blade is a single white line. Black ink spatter hangs in the air. Frozen for half a second, no longer. STREAK: a black streak with a red edge rips across the frame and hard cuts back to the street.

She is on screen in every shot from the first frame to the last. There is never an empty street shot.

0.0–0.4s: the first frame is already a HOLD, in full color in the street, no red yet. Low angle, she is crouched with the sword drawn back, a raincoat thug frozen mid-swing above her.
0.4–1.0s: RED OUT 1: flat solid red, she is a pure black silhouette under him, the blade a single white line touching him. Frozen. STREAK.
1.0–2.5s: back in the street, the same thug is still right there above her, and he bursts on screen into flat black ink with hard cyan edges. A second thug swings a steel pipe. Her silver cybernetic hand catches it bare-handed with a flat burst of sparks and her red heel kicks him straight back through the rain.
2.5–4.0s: super close-up of her eyes above the mask, rain on her bangs, the two cyan filter rings brighten. She says quietly in Japanese, muffled through the mask, the mask does not move: 「息、止めて。」 Behind her in the dark, five red visor slits light up one by one.
4.0–4.5s: HOLD, in full color in the street: she drops low, one hand flat on the wet road, the five thugs frozen around her in a ring.
4.5–5.0s: RED OUT 2: flat solid red, she is a pure black silhouette mid-dash, five black silhouettes around her, the blade a single white line running through all five. Frozen. STREAK.
5.0–7.5s: back in the street, she stands among the five thugs with her sword extended. Nobody moves. A thin white line appears across each thug one after another, and they burst apart into flat black ink splashes with hard cyan edges. No blood.
7.5–11.5s: a huge armoured thug twice her height crashes through a neon sign shape in a shower of flat sparks and swings a giant cleaver down at her. She blocks, her heels skidding back through the water. He swings again; she slides under the blade on the wet road, jumps onto his arm, runs up it and leaps over his shoulder, coat flaring.
11.5–11.8s: HOLD: at the top of the leap, sword high in both hands, she freezes above him, in full color in the street.
11.8–12.1s: a fast smear, still in full color, she drops onto him and the sword comes down.
12.1–12.9s: RED OUT 3, the longest, it starts on the frame the blade hits him: flat solid red, and on that same frame all color leaves her, her coat, mask, hair and pants turn pure black, exactly like RED OUT 1 and RED OUT 2. She is a pure black silhouette on top of him with the sword in him, he is a huge black silhouette below her, the blade a single white line through him. No color on either of them. Frozen, then the black ink starts to split down the middle of him. STREAK.
12.9–15.0s ENDING: the rainy street, low angle. She lands in a crouch as the two halves of the armour burst into black ink behind her, stands, and flicks the ink off the blade. The film ends on the flick, while the coat is still moving. No walking, no standing pose.

Sound: rain, blade cuts, the catch of metal on metal, the smog hiss from her mask filters, her one line. Total silence on every RED OUT, then a hard blade hit on the STREAK. No music. No on-screen text, no subtitles, no logo, no watermark.
